You are going to laugh at me, but I just Googled 'Bill Mackenzie' to see if the flower looked similar to him. The search was unsuccessful, and I'm not sure who he is, but this flower is epic!
I love clematis, but I've never seen one that looked quite like this. It's definitely an interesting subject. As always, I love the contrast between green and blue. That blue was a good choice for the background. The flower blurs a bit toward the middle, but it's not too noticeable or distracting.
